Rules of Thirds &+ Leading Lines(:

Rules of Thirds
Rules of thirds is a techinque that is used to make your portrait more exciting. The best place to place you drawing is in or on the intersections of lines. (of couse if  you were to put 9 squares on yout pitcure). The middle is the most BORING place to put yourmain focal point. For some reason just not so exciting!

Leading Lines

From my understanding Leading lines is where thing up close appear to be bigger and objects further away seem to seem smaller. Also as it gets smaller it has something interesting or exciting that it is leading to!

I l l u s i o n {Of} S p a c e

Illusion of space is a piece of art that has different qualities involved, like: overlapping, size,it also makes a 2D surface appears 3D. It makes a piece of art become real and seem more closer than what it will actually be.

GOYA
The one thing I really like about Francisco's  paintings is that he draws what he sees or what he has seen in the past. He might be a little bit crazy, but him drawing on his wall in the kitchen is really cool! Since most of his paintings are black they have so much detail in them. Since he is some what deaf, him focusing on his sight and al that makes him ten times better at what he loves. If there was one thing I had to imitate about this artist, it will be to stay focused, draw what I see, and add lots of detail.

1st. Quarters Fave(:

Drawing was my favorite piece of art of the first quarter because I was able to make it stand out in 2D. My picture looked more real. And I was able to succeed in this drawing and get it to actually look like my reference picture! I excel more in my shading, light and darks, and shapes. I would prefer drawing other then painting!:)
